Cannibals in the City
Just a day after 'cured' brain cancer patient Max Brooks went on a rampage cannibalizing five people including a police officer who responded to 911 calls, there have been several more incidences of citizens turning cannibalistic. Authorities are certain the occurrences are not related.

'Cured' brain cancer patient, Max Brooks, went on a rampage early this morning, killing five people including a police officer who responded to 911 calls that there was a cannibal in the City Gym parking lot dining on his victims. Failing to heed warnings from police to 'drop the body parts', Mr Brooks was shot three times as he attacked and killed a rookie police officer. Both the policeman, Ken Lunth, and Mr. Brooks were pronounced dead at the scene.

Dead Time
Dead time is the time after an event during which a system is temporarily unable to record another event. In a paralizable system, an event happening during the dead time will restart the dead time with increasing rate so that the system will reach a saturation point where it will be incapable of recording any event at all.
